The USAID Feed the Future Collaborative Research on Sorghum and Millet has been a powerful influence on the growth & development of soghum, millet and scientists since 2013. Under the leadership of Dr. Tim Dalton, SMIL director, we’ve approached challenges by empowering our research teams in our focus countries to connect with experts and implement creative solutions with tools and technology made available to our national teams in West Africa, Ethiopia and Haiti. Together, we improve sorghum & millet breeding, feed and food production and economic opportunities.
